Starbucks opens new Starbucks cafe in downtown Portland
Starbucks has opened a new Starbucks in Portland, Oregon, the company announced Thursday.
The new coffee shop, located in the new Starbucks, will open in the Portland International Airport in January 2018.
The coffee shop is located in a new, expanded Starbucks parking lot in downtown’s Pearl District.
“Starbucks is thrilled to open its first new retail store in the Pearl District in just over a year,” said Jody Lomax, Starbucks director of corporate development and marketing.
“This location is one of the fastest growing in the U.S. and will help us continue to offer our customers the best coffee experience in the Pacific Northwest.”
Starbucks is one year into its expansion in the Oregon region, which includes Portland, Eugene, Salem and the Columbia River Gorge.
The Starbucks in Pearl District will be the company’s third retail location outside the United States.
Starbucks will also open a coffee shop at the Oregon State Capitol in Corvallis later this year.
