How to buy a cake, a birthday cake, and a car…
The first time I went to a birthday party, I went on a whim.
A party to celebrate my new boyfriend was to take place in my own backyard.
I went out with my parents and they were both present.
There were cake decorators, cake makers, cake decorating professionals, cake baking experts, cake bakers, and cake decorator/coffee maker, as well as a baker who had just been hired by the party’s host, who wanted to make sure he got the cake he wanted.
I was in love with the party, but I didn’t quite know what to expect.
I wanted a cake.
The cake was going to be delicious.
But I was still not sure what to put on it.
After the party was over, I sat down at a table and asked the cake decoratarian for some ideas.
She was very generous and offered me a free birthday cake from the cake bakery she had been working with.
I told her I didn, and she replied, “You have to take care of it, don’t worry.
It’s my birthday.”
I had no idea what to make with the cake.
But, I asked for the best, and the cake was exactly what I wanted.
The best cake.
I’ve made cakes for people of all ages, from kids to adults.
And for me, this cake was perfect.
It was moist and rich, yet delicate and soft.
I loved the way the cake smelled, and I couldn’t stop smiling as I poured it into my mouth.
The icing on top was absolutely divine, too.
When the cake came out of the oven, I was aghast.
It smelled amazing, but there was no way I could put it on the cake that night.
I had only made one cake before this one, and this was going nowhere.
I couldn, not with the icing, so I told my parents what happened and they helped me get the cake ready for the party.
When I arrived home, my parents were in tears.
They were so happy for me.
They knew what they had bought me and that was not to be.
I would never have made a cake for my birthday party if I didn.
They gave me permission to share this cake with my family and friends, so they could celebrate it with me, too!
